描述：	The American Battlefield Trust was awarded a VLCF grant of $879,000 to protect the 476-acre Calloway Tract in Culpeper County through the purchase and recordation of an open-space easement to be held by the Virginia Board of Historic Resources. The property is part of a working farm zoned for agriculture with a main house, four guest houses, a stable, garage, silo dairy storage, sheds, barns, and other minor structures. The property lies within the core and study areas of the Brandy Station Battlefield, identified as a Priority I.3 (Class B) site in the Civil War Sites Advisory Commission Report. The property has extensive frontage on the Rappahannock River, which will be protected with 35-foot vegetated buffers. The easement will protect the farm's productivity, conserve natural and historic resources, and preserve scenic viewsheds of the Brandy Station Battlefield and nearby Culpeper Battlefields State Park.
