The Department of Conservation and Recreation hosted a public information meeting on October 6, 2025, at the Town Council Meeting Room in Farmville, Virginia.
The purpose of the meeting was to obtain feedback on the preliminary recommendations of the proposed master plan, including the park ’s mission statement, interpretive themes, goals and objectives, and recommendations for new and improved recreational facilities. At the end of the meeting, the public had an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the proposed development plan. You can submit your comments by email at PlanningResources@dcr.virginia.gov through Nov. 6, 2025.
