Due to the expected impact of the winter storm, all Virginia State Park overnight facilities will be closed from Friday, Jan. 23 through Tuesday, Jan. 27. This decision is based on the forecast for unsafe conditions and potential power outages. For updates click here.
In accordance with the Code of Virginia, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation is updating the master plan for Raymond R. “Andy” Guest Jr. Shenandoah River State Park located in Warren County, VA. The purpose of a master plan is to guide the management and development of a park by identifying natural, cultural and physical resources; identifying park needs; and engaging with the public. Virginia state park master plans are updated every 10 years.
