Foliage report for November 6, 2025.

This will be our last foliage report of the season.

Central Virginia's High Bridge Trail State Park is vibrant, especially on the Cumberland side, while Pocahontas State Park still shows beautiful hues despite being past peak. At Twin Lakes State Park, color changes are accelerating with more leaves falling. In Coastal Virginia, First Landing State Park remains colorful, but this may be the last week of peak foliage. The Rainbow Swamps have started to make an early appearance, adding even more vivid color to the mix. Northern Virginia’s Seven Bends features stunning colors, and Sweet Run State Park has colorful trails despite fading vibrancy. Pleasant weather is expected until late in the week when rain and cooler temperatures arrive. In Western Virginia, Douthat State Park retains some oranges and yellows, while Fairy Stone State Park offers dynamic colors. Hungry Mother State Park has fading hues but still captivating views, enhanced by chilly weather and clear skies.
