ANNOUNCEMENT:

The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is accepting public comments on the Resilient Virginia Revolving Loan Fund (RVRF) Draft Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for 2026.

Comment deadline: May 14, 2026

After the public comment period closes, DCR will review all comments and make any needed updates. The final NOFO will be published by June 1, 2026.

This funding opportunity will support projects that improve flood resilience and recovery.

Who is eligible to apply?

To apply, your locality must be located in a community affected by:

Tropical Storm Helene, or
Heavy rainfall in February 2025

The Resilient Virginia Revolving Loan Fund (RVRF) was established in 2022 by the General Assembly of Virginia: §§ 62.1-199 and 62.1-203 of the Code of Virginia were amended and reenacted, and Chapter 6 of Title 10.1 10.1-603.28 through 10.1-603.40.
